Shaking off the rust...

Being an art teacher definitely has its drawbacks. For example, focusing on your student's art severly puts a damper on your own work. Thus the creation of this blog. I will be trying to get back into "art shape" by working on my shortcomings (Which are plentiful let me tell you). My first "project is to get better at drawing heads. I've never been good at drawing them so its now time to step up so to speak. I've been influenced by many different instructors in my time, primarily those from the School of Visual Arts, Mike Mattesi, James McMullen, and John Ruggeri.
